Interestingly, while my father died for this world, my work and my person developed and managed to make its way into the vital project that I imposed on myself and that was to emigrate to Europe, from my native Mexico.

Although it was in 1999, just before my father died, when I was finally able to fulfill my dream of traveling to the Old Continent, it was not until 2001, after purging my feelings in the previous year, when I started working on my series "Pasados Recientes" that alludes to the common past that all of us who have been educated in Western customs and ideology that come from Europe have.
